The cat is arguably one of the most intriguing characters, it's one of our favourites. It actually all started with a giraffe. We wanted to feature a really strange toy, every kids had one of those odd toys that they got at a fair that just didn’t make sense but they loved anyway. That’s what we wanted to portray. A giraffe was too standard but we liked the long neck feature and had some ideas for a characters abilities with a long neck. So we went the next step and combined a cat and giraffe, keeping the cute cat toy features but adding the long neck. 

Texturing was simple, we wanted a pink soft stuffed toy, we needed the neck to be really flimsy and swinging around everywhere. Its head size is slightly big so it can't fully support the weight of it which makes for really fun character movements.
