Character: Teddy Progression


All of our characters went through a similar development process. We started with Nathans sketches and from those Ryan developed fleshed out sketches for Nathan to then create the model. 

Dan rigged and animated Teddy and Bella UV unwrapped and textured. 


Challenges:

- Nathan had some challenges attaching the legs and arms to the body in Blender. He was able to work around the issue and find a resolution. 

- Dan had some difficulties when rigging. The skin weights were difficult to set correctly. 

- Bella: There were some issues with the sizing of the UV because the Teddy has the random patches each body piece needed to be large enough sizes to accommodate the design. 

- Xavier needed to simplify the work flow. Re designing game systems to aid in future development of the game. 


By working together and bouncing work back and forth we were able to create a wonderful set of characters.
